How to find us
Kulturen in Lund is located at Tegnérsplatsen in the heart of Lund, just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral and the Lundagård park.

Car parking is available in some nearby streets, but it is easier to travel by train and walk to Kulturen in Lund from Lund Central Station (10 minutes).

Restaurant & Café
Kulturen’s restaurant is located right beside the museum’s entrance.
The café in the open-air museum is open every Saturday and Sunday during low season. It is also open during the school holidays.
Picnics
You are welcome to bring your own food and enjoy a picnic in our park. Please be considerate of other visitors by leaving the park clean and tidy. Bins are provided in several locations inside the Open-air Museum for your convenience. Please note that barbecuing is not permitted.
Please note: We don’t allow dogs inside Kulturen in Lund. Neither smoking nor barbecuing is permitted on the museum grounds.
Museum shop
Our museum shop offers an extensive range of southern Swedish handicrafts and contemporary creations, including ceramics, ornamental woodwork and ironwork, textiles and jewellery. We also sell exhibition posters and other products with designs featuring Kulturen in Lund.
Accessibility
Walkways in the Open-air Museum have coarse gravel or cobblestone surfaces, which may make access difficult for people using wheelchairs or similar. The doorways to several of the historic buildings have high sills that make them inaccessible to wheelchair or pushchair users. The larger buildings on site have ramps, lifts and accessible toilets.
Entrance
You’ll find the entrance to the museum at the White House (Vita huset) on Tegnérsplatsen. The White House stands on the southern site, together with several of our exhibitions and a number of our attractive historic buildings. To see the rest of the museum – and to get to our café – you’ll need to cross over to our northern site via the tunnel under the street called Adelgatan. Please note that the tunnel has steps. If you find steps difficult to negotiate, we recommend that you cross to the northern site via the “Green Gate”. A member of our staff will be happy to assist you.
Wi-Fi
Kulturen in Lund has several free Wi-Fi hotspots (“Kulturen Free Wi-Fi”): at the museum entrance inside the White House (Vita huset) and in the Textile Hall (Textilhallen), the Lund Hall (Lundahallen), the Nobleman’s House (Herrehuset) and Kulturen’s café. No password is required.
